Only half an hour drive from our Garden Lodge Guest House is a lovely hike up the Steenbras River Gorge to Crystal Pools where you can have a picnic and a swim!
Garden Lodge is also within walking distance of the Helderberg Nature Reserve, which offers 5 different day hikes and walks through the mountain fynbos. You will see birds, large tortoise, bontebok and other wildlife including many protea species.
